Effective Communication Skills

Would you like to increase your effectiveness, reduce costs and improve the morale of your workplace? If so, this class is for you! At Honda, communication is one the core principles of operation. Honda prides itself in providing an environment that encourages open communication. Get a better understanding of what it takes to be an effective communicator. Practice your communication skills in situational role-play activities while learning to match verbal and non-verbal messages. Practice your listening skills and get tips for handling emotions in the workplace.

Objectives:

• Transfer knowledge and skills more effectively
• Employ communication as a means of promoting teamwork
• Identify barriers to communication and teach ways to remove or minimize those barriers
• Understand the three levels of attention
• Understand the difference between active and passive listening
• Understand the different cultures surrounding them and how they communicate with each other
